അറബിക്കടലിന്റെ തീരത്ത് ആയിരം കൊല്ലത്തെ ഒാർമകളെ തെല്ലും ചോർന്നുപോവാതെ കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുകയാണ് കുറ്റിച്ചിറയെന്ന പ്രദേശം. ആയിരത്തിൽപരം വർഷം പഴക്കമുള്ള പള്ളികളും വീടുകളും ഇടവഴികളും കണ്ണിന് കുളിർമ തരുന്നതും അവയിൽ ചിലതിന്റെ നിർമാണങ്ങൾ നമ്മെ അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതുമാണ്. മുസ്ലീംങ്ങളാണ് പ്രദേശത്തുകാരിലധികവും.

ഏകദേശം ആയിരത്തിൽപരം വർഷം പഴക്കമുള്ള മുച്ചുന്തിപ്പള്ളിയാണ് ഇവിടത്തെ പഴമകളിലൊന്ന്, മിനാരമൊ മറ്റേതെങ്കിലും അടയാളമൊ ഇല്ല എന്നതാണ് ഇതിന്റെ പ്രത്യേകത. പ്രസിദ്ധമായ മിശ്കാൽ പള്ളിയുടെ തെക്കു വശത്താണ് പള്ളി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. സാമുദായിക ഐക്യത്തിന്റെ മകുടോദാഹരണമായിരുന്നു മുച്ചുന്തിപ്പള്ളിയുടെ നിർമാണം.

അറേബ്യൻ കച്ചവടക്കാരനായിരുന്ന നക്ഹൂദ മിശ്കാൽ നിർമിച്ച പ്രസിദ്ധമായ പള്ളിയാണ് മിശ്ക്കാൽ പള്ളി. പോർച്ചുഗീസുകാർ പള്ളി ആക്രമിച്ചപ്പോൾ അന്നത്തെ സാമൂതിരിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പള്ളി പുതുക്കിപ്പണിയുകയായിരുന്നു. ഏകദേശം എണ്ണൂറ് വർഷം പഴക്കം കണക്കാക്കുന്നു ഈ പള്ളിക്ക്. മിശ്കാൽ പള്ളിയാണ് യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ കുറ്റിച്ചിറയുടെ മുഖം. 

കോഴിക്കോട് വലിയ ഖാസിയുടെ കേന്ദ്രവും ഇവിടെയാണ്. പള്ളിക്ക് മുമ്പിലായി വലിയൊരു പൊതുകുളമുണ്ട്, വൈകുന്നേരമായാൽ ഈ കുളത്തിന്റെ തിണ്ണയിലിരുന്നാണ് ഇവിടുത്തുകാർ നാട്ടുവർത്തമാനങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നത്. തൊട്ടടുത്തായി ഒന്നിച്ചിരുന്നു ടി.വി. കാണാനുള്ള സംവിധാനവും. ചിലസമയങ്ങളിൽ ഇവരോട് ശരിക്കും അസൂയ തോന്നിപ്പോവും, എങ്ങനെയാണ് ഇവർക്ക് ഇതൊക്കെ നിലനിർത്തിപ്പോവാനെന്നോർത്ത്.

ടിപ്പുവും പട്ടാളവും വന്ന മറ്റൊരു ചരിത്രമാണ് കുറ്റിച്ചിറയ്ക്ക് പറയാനുള്ളത്. യമനിൽ നിന്ന് വന്ന ശൈഹ് മുഹമ്മദ് ജിഫ്രി തങ്ങളും കൂട്ടരും കുറ്റിച്ചിറയിൽ താമസമാക്കുകയും അവിടെ ചെറിയൊരു പള്ളി നിർമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അമാനുഷിക കഴിവുകൾ ധാരാളമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പണ്ഡിതനായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹമെന്നാണ് പറയപ്പെടുന്നത്. തങ്ങളുടെ പിൻതലമുറ ഇന്നും കുറ്റിച്ചിറയിലെ ഈ പഴയ വീട്ടിൽ താമസിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

സാമുതിരിയിൽ നിന്നാത്രെ ടിപ്പു സുൽത്താൻ തങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് കേൾക്കുന്നത്. നാനൂറോളം വരുന്ന പട്ടാളക്കാരുമായി ടിപ്പു ഇവിടെ വരികയും ഇവിടെ താമസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവെന്നാണ് ചരിത്രം. ടിപ്പുവിനെ സ്വീകരിച്ചിരുത്തിയ ഒരു വമ്പിച്ച മരത്തിന്റെ ബെഞ്ചൊക്കെ ഇന്നുമിവിടെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു വച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 

തങ്ങൾ സ്വന്തം കൈപ്പടയിൽ എഴുതിയ ഖുർആനും ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്. ഒരു വലിയ റൂമിനുള്ളിലാണ് ഇവരുടെ ഖബറുകളും യമനിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടുവന്ന പഴയ കുറേ സാധനങ്ങളും സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. തങ്ങളുടെ നിർദ്ദേശ പ്രകാരമാണ് ടിപ്പു മാനാഞ്ചിറയിലെ കുളം നിർമിച്ചതെന്നും പറയപ്പെടുന്നു. മുസ്ലീം സമുദായത്തിലെ കോയ എന്ന് വിളിപ്പേരുള്ള വിഭാഗക്കാരാണ് ഇവിടുത്തുകാരിലനികവും. മരുമക്കത്തായ സമ്പ്രദായമാണ് ഇവിടുത്തുകാരിലധികവും സ്വീകരിച്ചുവരുന്നത്.

This is my last story about the city of garden the city of spicy food (Gulbarga/Kalaburagi)
i feel, sometime the FB walls are not at all enough to express the experiences which i getting from the journey, uncountable histories are lies our surroundings, those making us wonder how they built, how they planned those. 

The Jamia masjid at gulbarga is a yet another story of wonderful architecture. The masjid is the first covered mosque in Asia with capacity of 5000 persons. Completed in 1367, by Rafi an architect of Kwajwin region of Iran. during the period of Mohammad Shah, this grand mosque inside the Fort is a delightful monument that is still well-preserved.

The architecture has been followed the model of famous Cardova mosque in Spain. This Masjid covert an area of over 38.000 sq.ft. which contains 130 pillars, 63 domes including five large domes with 250 arches. This staged a strong Persian touch in its architecture.

The masjid also have the Indo-Islamic architectural features, but we can't find any other masjid in india with the same design. The Mihrab of the mosque may be seen from anwhere in the mosque, all worshippens having a clear view It is said that it resembles the famous mosque of Cordova city in Spain. The palace and other structures inside the fort wall are now in ruins. But the Jumma Masjid, noteworthy monument of Gulbarga is in well preserved condition.

Four years have passed and come back to the unforgettable moments of seven days in village camps. The eight of us left the village of Hasnabad and left the bus. Sulaimani of Mohabbath in Mampuzha

The project was initiated under the supervision of four persons with the objective of reconstructing the river as it washed the entire waste from the river. Mampuzha was once known as a waste water tank and traveled eight kilometers from Kozhikode town to the Axononic farm of Mampuzha in Kambiliparambu in Olavanna panchayath.

The farm has a large number of vegetables and spices to attract tourists. The Farm is functioning with the recognition of the State Tourism Council and the Department of Water Conservation. This is also the place where you can find a restaurant for dining food.

The food and vegetables produced in the farm tself, come here an enjoy the western wind of Kozhikode and the Suleimani of Mohabbath (love) on the banks of the river. They said this is the first hotel in India that made on the water.

Another attraction here is the Thups near the farm and you can enjoy the beauty of the mangroves in Mampuzha by making your way through the mango groves.

But the destruction of the floods is also their dreams, many of which have passed away, and thousands of fishes have fled.

ഉമ്മയും ഉപ്പയുമായൊക്കെ എങ്ങോട്ടേലൊക്കെ പോണോന്ന് ചിന്തിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങീട്ട് കുറച്ചായി അപ്പൊപ്പിഞ്ഞെ തിരുവന്തപുരത്തോട്ടാവാന്ന് കരുതി പെങ്ങളും അളിയനും ഇവിട ഉള്ളോണ്ട് കാര്യങ്ങൾ എളുപ്പമാണല്ലൊ. യാത്രാനുഭവങ്ങളിൽ വേറിട്ടു നിൽക്കുന്നതും പുതിയ അനുഭവങ്ങളാൽ സമ്പന്നവുമാണ് കുടുംബയാത്ര. ഒന്നിച്ചുള്ള യാത്രയും ഭക്ഷണവും സ്ഥലങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ചർച്ചയുമൊക്കെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ പുതിയ ഏടുകളിൽ പകർത്തപ്പെട്ടുകഴിഞ്ഞു. 

പലവട്ടം പോയ സ്ഥലങ്ങളായിരുന്നിട്ടും അവരുമൊത്ത് കാണുമ്പൊ അതിനോട് വേറൊരു മുഹമ്പത്ത് തന്നെയാണ് മൃഗശാലയും നിയമസഭയും ബീമാപ്പള്ളിയും കോവളം ബീച്ചും വിഴിഞ്ഞം തുറമുഖവും അവസാനം വിഴിഞ്ഞത്തെ ഹോട്ടലിലെ സീ ഫുഡും കഴിച്ച് റൂമിലോട്ട്, പെങ്ങളും അളിയനും തിരോന്തരത്ത് താമസമായോണ്ട് ഒന്നും പേടിക്കാനില്ല സ്വന്തം വീട് പോലെ സമാധാനത്തിൽ കേറിക്കിടക്കാം.

കുടുംബ കഥയിലെ അനന്തപുരി PART- 2

വെളുപ്പിനെ ഇറങ്ങണമെന്ന ആലോചനയിലാണ് തലേദിവസം കിടന്നുറങ്ങിയതെങ്കിലും പെങ്ങളുടെയും ഉമ്മാന്റെയും അണിഞ്ഞൊരുങ്ങൾ കണക്ക് കൂട്ടലുകൾമൊത്തം തെറ്റിച്ചു. ഭാഗ്യമെന്നു തന്നെ പറയണം 12മണിക്ക് മുമ്പ് തന്നെ റൂം വിട്ട് പുറത്തിറങ്ങി, നെയ്യാർ ഡാമാണ് യാത്രയുടെ ആദ്യ ലക്ഷ്യസ്ഥാനം. ഞാനും അളിയനുമൊക്കെ(Shakeer Vanimal) കുളിക്കാനുള്ള തോർത്തൊക്കെ കയ്യിൽ കരുതിയിരുന്നു. കടുത്ത ചൂടിനെ കുളിരണിയിപ്പിക്കാൻ നല്ല ചാറ്റൽ മഴ സജ്ജമായിരുന്നു നെയ്യാർ ഡാമിൽ. ഡാമിലെന്തിന ഇത്രവെള്ളം തുടങ്ങിയ താത്വികമായ ചിന്തകളായിരുന്നു റിനുവിന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ, ചാറ്റൽ മഴയും കൊണ്ട് ഡാമിലാകെ ചുറ്റിയടിച്ചു. ഉമ്മയൊക്കെ നമ്മളെ തോൽപ്പിക്കുന്ന യാത്രികരാണ് ബായ്...

നെയ്യാർ ഡാമിലെ ചാറ്റൽ മഴയോട് യാത്രപറഞ്ഞു മലയിറങ്ങി, ഇനി പൊൻമുടിയിലേക്കാണ് ഏകദേശം 50 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഇനിയും സഞ്ചരിക്കണം. നമ്മളിതൊക്കെ മുമ്പേ കണ്ടതാണെന്നുള്ള ഭാവത്തിലാണ് പെങ്ങളുടെ ഇരുപ്പ്. ഉമ്മയും റിനുവും അനീസയും എന്തെന്നില്ലാത്ത ആവേശത്തിലാണ്, ഇടയ്ക്കുള്ള ചാറ്റൽ മഴയാണ് അവരുടെ പ്രശ്നം നമുക്കാണെ അതില്ലാതെ പറ്റാതെയുമായി. 

പറയാതിരിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല വിതുര മുതൽ പൊൻമുടിവരെയുള്ള കാനന പാതയ്ക്ക് വല്ലാത്തൊരു മൊഞ്ച് തന്നെയാണ്, 22 ഹെയർ പിൻ വളവുകൾ കയറി വേണം പൊൻമുടിയിലെത്താൻ. ഔരോ വളവുകളും മനസ്സിനെ കുളിരണിയിക്കുന്ന കാഴ്ചകളാൽ ധന്യമാണ്. പൊൻമുടിയുടെ ഏതൊ കൈകളിൽ നിന്ന് ഒഴുകിവരുന്ന കല്ലാറിൽ നിന്ന് കുളിക്കാൻ തോർത്ത് കരുതിയിരുന്നെങ്കിലും സമയ പരിമിധികൊണ്ട് വേണ്ടാന്നുവച്ചു.

കോഡയും ഇടിമിന്നലും കാരണം മുകളിലോട്ടുള്ള പ്രവേശനം നിർത്തിവച്ചെന്നുള്ള അറിയിപ്പ് താഴെയുള്ള ചെക്പോസ്റ്റിൽ നിന്നും ലഭിച്ചു. എന്നിട്ടും രണ്ടും കൽപിച്ചു കയറാൻ തന്നെ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. കോഡപുതച്ചു കിടക്കുന്ന മലനിരകൾ കാറ്റിനോട് പിണങ്ങി നടക്കുന്ന കാമുകനെ പോലെ ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ വരുന്ന ചാറ്റൽ മഴ, തമിഴ്നാടും കേരളവും ഇരുഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നമ്മൾ മറ്റേതോ ലോകത്തും, വയനാടൻ മലനിരകൾ മാത്രം കണ്ടുശീലിച്ച ഉമ്മാക്കും അനീസാക്കും റിനൂനും അവിശ്വസിനിയമായ നിമിഷങ്ങളായിരുന്നു. ആ തണുത്ത കാറ്റിലും ചാറ്റൽ മഴയിലും ഇറങ്ങിയുള്ള ഫോട്ടം പിടുത്തം ഞാൻ പതിവാക്കി.

വാക്കുകൾ കൊണ്ടൊ ഫോട്ടോ കൊണ്ടൊ വിവരണാധീതമായ കാഴ്ചയാണ് പൊൻമുടിക്ക് മുകളിലെത്തുമ്പോൾ, താഴെ ചെക്പോസ്റ്റിൽ നിന്ന് കിട്ടിയതുപോലുള്ള യാതൊരുവിധ തടസ്സവും അവിടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. രണ്ട് മണിക്കൂർ കറങ്ങി ചുരമിറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ആർക്കും വയറുനിറയാത്ത അവസ്ഥയായിരുന്നു, രാവിലെ വന്ന് ഇവിടെ ഇരിക്കായിരുന്നെന്നാണ് ഉമ്മ പറഞ്ഞത്. 17ാം വളവിലുള്ള ചായക്കടയിൽ നിന്ന് പഴം പൊരിയും ചായയും കഴിച്ച് മനസ്സില്ലാ മനസ്സോടെ പൊൻമുടിയോട് റ്റാറ്റ പറഞ്ഞു.
