The project was initiated under the supervision of four persons with the objective of reconstructing the river as it washed the entire waste from the river. Mampuzha was once known as a waste water tank and traveled eight kilometers from Kozhikode town to the Axononic farm of Mampuzha in Kambiliparambu in Olavanna panchayath.
The farm has a large number of vegetables and spices to attract tourists. The Farm is functioning with the recognition of the State Tourism Council and the Department of Water Conservation. This is also the place where you can find a restaurant for dining food.
The food and vegetables produced in the farm tself, come here an enjoy the western wind of Kozhikode and the Suleimani of Mohabbath (love) on the banks of the river. They said this is the first hotel in India that made on the water.
Another attraction here is the Thups near the farm and you can enjoy the beauty of the mangroves in Mampuzha by making your way through the mango groves.
But the destruction of the floods is also their dreams, many of which have passed away, and thousands of fishes have fled.
